Looking For Legal Advice?

Have you had problems with contracts - with your customers, or your suppliers? Are you wondering whether to form a company or work as a sole trader? Do you need legal advice, but your budget won't stretch to it?

Tiger11 has teamed up with LawWorks, ProHelp and four leading Leeds law firms to create the Hillside Legal Advice Service (HLAS). At HLAS you can get free, initial legal advice from trained provided by volunteer solicitors and other staff from legal firms.

HLAS will provide free face-to-face advice to people with legal problems in a variety of areas. Whilst HLAS will not be able to take on people’s cases, it will provide initial advice and help empower people to take action themselves. Where people need further advice and assistance, HLAS will aim to refer to specialist services.

As well as commercial work, HLAS can help with employment, debt, benefit, housing and consumer issues. Unfortunately HLAS cannot help with immigration, criminal or family matters.

The service runs every Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Hillside.
